D. Applications, Screening and Service Information

If you submit an application, request a consultation, seek to book a service, or participate in screening, you may voluntarily provide information that is more sensitive than information ordinarily collected through the Website.

Please do not provide sensitive information that has not been requested or that is unnecessary for the applicable purpose.

3. INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY

When you access or use the Website, certain technical information may be collected automatically by us or service providers operating the Website.

This information may include:

  • IP address;

  • approximate geographic location derived from technical information;

  • referring or exit pages;

  • pages or content viewed;

  • cookie or similar technology identifiers; and

  • diagnostic, security, and performance information.

This information may be used to operate and secure the Website, remember preferences, understand Website usage, troubleshoot technical issues, prevent abuse, and improve the Services.

4. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

SERVESKYLAR and service providers supporting the Website may use cookies and similar technologies for purposes such as:

  • maintaining Website functionality;

  • keeping users signed in;

  • remembering preferences;

  • providing account and shopping functionality;

  • maintaining security;

  • understanding Website performance and usage; and

  • improving the Website and Services.

Where required, the Website provides a cookie-consent mechanism through which you may manage applicable cookie preferences.

You may also be able to control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may prevent some Website features from functioning properly.

SERVESKYLAR does not currently use personal information collected through the Website for its own cross-site behavioral advertising or sell such information for behavioral advertising purposes.

5. HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may use personal information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Website and Services;

  • create and administer accounts;

  • authenticate users and maintain account security;

  • process purchases and transactions;

  • provide digital purchases and membership access;

  • administer recurring subscriptions;

  • fulfill and ship physical orders;

  • process applications, consultations, screenings, and bookings;

  • communicate with customers and applicants;

  • provide customer support;

  • send transactional and account-related communications;

  • administer community features;

  • operate and archive livestreams;

  • personalize or improve Website functionality;

  • detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents;

  • enforce our Terms of Service and other policies;

  • maintain records and comply with legal obligations;

  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;

  • send marketing communications where permitted and, where required, with appropriate consent; and

  • otherwise carry out purposes disclosed when information is collected.

We may also use information in aggregated or de-identified form where it no longer reasonably identifies an individual.

6. MEMBERSHIPS AND MEMBER PROFILES

Certain Website features require a member account.

Member profiles are currently configured as private. Maintaining a SERVESKYLAR account or paid membership does not, by itself, make your private account, billing, or membership information publicly visible.

If you voluntarily participate in forums, channels, comments, discussions, livestream chats, or other interactive features, information you intentionally submit through those features may be visible to other authorized users.

You should avoid posting personal information that you do not want others to see.

7. COMMUNITY CONTENT AND USER SUBMISSIONS

If you voluntarily submit content through a community or interactive feature, we may process the content and information associated with the submission to operate, moderate, display, and promote the Services.

Depending on the context, this may include:

  • posts;

  • comments;

  • reviews;

  • questions;

  • suggestions;

  • messages intended for community display;

  • photographs or media; and

  • the username associated with a submission.

As further described in our Terms of Service, appropriate User Submissions may be featured or reposted through SERVESKYLAR-controlled or affiliated social-media accounts, creator platforms, or promotional channels.

Where reasonably practicable and appropriate, we may remove or obscure unnecessary identifying information before publicly featuring a submission. However, the username associated with a submission may be included where appropriate.

Information provided privately for account, billing, shipping, application, screening, or administrative purposes is not treated as public community content merely because you maintain an account or membership.

8. LIVESTREAMS AND RECORDINGS

SERVESKYLAR livestreams may be recorded, archived, edited, excerpted, and subsequently made available as reruns or other content.

If you voluntarily participate in an interactive livestream feature, information you intentionally display or submit—including a username, chat message, comment, or other visible interaction—may appear in the resulting recording.

Accordingly, you should not submit information during a livestream that you do not want included in a recording or potentially viewed by others.

Where appropriate, SERVESKYLAR may obscure or remove identifying information, but we do not guarantee that all voluntarily displayed information will be removed from every recording.

9. EMAIL AND SMS COMMUNICATIONS

We may send transactional or administrative communications necessary to operate your account or provide Services, including:

  • purchase confirmations and receipts;

  • membership confirmations;

  • subscription, renewal, cancellation, or expiration notices;

  • shipping and order updates;

  • account and security notices;

  • booking or application communications; and

  • customer-service messages.

We may also send promotional emails to individuals who have subscribed to or otherwise agreed to receive them as permitted by applicable law.

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe mechanism included in those communications.

If you affirmatively enroll in SMS or text-message communications, we may use your telephone number to provide the communications described at enrollment. Where applicable, consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchase.

You may opt out of marketing SMS communications using the instructions provided with those messages.

Providing a telephone number for an order, application, screening, booking, or customer-service matter does not, by itself, mean that you have consented to receive unrelated marketing text messages where separate consent is required.

Opting out of promotional communications does not necessarily prevent us from sending transactional or administrative communications necessary to provide a requested Service.

10. HOW WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION

SERVESKYLAR does not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances.

Service Providers

We may provide information to service providers that perform functions on our behalf, including providers involved in:

  • Website hosting and operation;

  • account and membership functionality;

  • SMS communications;

  • security and fraud prevention;

  • technical support;

  • data storage;

  • order processing and fulfillment;

  • shipping and delivery; and

  • other services necessary to operate SERVESKYLAR.

These providers may access personal information only as appropriate to perform services for us or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Legal and Safety Purposes

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to:

  • comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;

  • enforce our Terms of Service or other policies;

  • investigate fraud, security incidents, abuse, or suspected unlawful activity;

  • protect the rights, property, or security of SERVESKYLAR, our users, or others;

  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; or

  • respond to an emergency where disclosure is permitted by law.

Business Transfers

If SERVESKYLAR is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, personal information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

At Your Direction

We may disclose information where you request, authorize, or intentionally direct us to do so.

11. PAYMENT INFORMATION

Payments made through SERVESKYLAR are processed by third-party payment service providers.

Payment providers may independently collect information such as your name, billing address, payment-card information, transaction information, device information, and other information necessary to process and secure transactions.

SERVESKYLAR generally receives transaction information necessary to confirm and administer a purchase but does not directly store your complete card number or card security code.

Your payment provider's handling of information is also subject to its own privacy practices.

12. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES

SERVESKYLAR may contain links to third-party websites, social networks, creator platforms, or other services.

If you follow a link to or interact directly with a third-party service, that provider may collect information independently from SERVESKYLAR.

This Privacy Policy does not govern the privacy practices of third parties. We encourage you to review the applicable privacy policy before providing information to another service.

13. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for legitimate business and legal purposes.

The appropriate retention period may depend on factors including:

  • whether you maintain an account or active membership;

  • the nature of your relationship with SERVESKYLAR;

  • transaction and financial-record requirements;

  • fulfillment and customer-service needs;

  • application or screening purposes;

  • fraud prevention and security;

  • dispute resolution;

  • enforcement of agreements;

  • legal claims; and

  • applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

Information may be retained for a period after an account is deleted where reasonably necessary or legally required.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary, it may be deleted, anonymized, or otherwise disposed of in accordance with applicable requirements.

14. DATA SECURITY

SERVESKYLAR and the service providers supporting the Website use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no method of internet transmission, electronic storage, or information-security system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and should not share your password with others.

If you believe your SERVESKYLAR account or information has been compromised, contact us promptly.

15. ACCOUNT DELETION AND PRIVACY REQUESTS

Where available, members may use account functionality to delete or manage their account.

You may also contact support@serveskylar.com to request assistance with account deletion or to make a privacy-related request.

Deleting an account does not necessarily require immediate deletion of every record associated with the account. We may retain information where reasonably necessary or permitted for transaction records, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, enforcement, or other legitimate purposes.

16. U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you reside and whether a particular privacy law applies to SERVESKYLAR or the relevant processing, you may have certain rights concerning your personal information.

These may include the right to:

  • request access to personal information we maintain about you;

  • request correction of inaccurate personal information;

SERVESKYLAR does not sell personal information.
.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights available to you.

To submit a privacy request, contact support@serveskylar.com.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. We may also deny or limit a request where permitted by applicable law, including where information must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, transaction-record, or other permitted purposes.

Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by applicable law, subject to appropriate verification and authorization requirements.

17. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY

California residents may have additional privacy rights under California law where the applicable statutory requirements are met.

These rights may include requests to know, access, correct, or delete certain personal information and to obtain information concerning certain disclosures or uses of personal information.

SERVESKYLAR does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

To the extent applicable law defines “sale” or “sharing” more broadly than an exchange for money, SERVESKYLAR will honor applicable opt-out rights where required.

Privacy requests may be submitted to support@serveskylar.com.

Nothing in this section is intended to represent that a particular California privacy statute applies to SERVESKYLAR where its legal applicability thresholds are not met.

18. INTERNATIONAL USERS

SERVESKYLAR is based in the United States and may be accessed by individuals in other countries.

If you access the Website from outside the United States, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or other jurisdictions in which our service providers operate.

Privacy and data-protection laws in those jurisdictions may differ from the laws of your country.

Where applicable law grants you rights concerning your personal information, you may contact us using the information provided below.

Depending on applicable law, those rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent, or the right to lodge a complaint with an appropriate data-protection authority.

Nothing in this Privacy Policy limits privacy rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

19. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING WHERE REQUIRED

Where applicable law requires us to identify a legal basis for processing personal information, we may process information on one or more of the following bases:

Performance of a contract: where processing is necessary to provide a purchase, membership, account, booking, digital product, physical product, or other requested Service.

Legitimate interests: where processing is reasonably necessary to operate and secure SERVESKYLAR, prevent fraud, provide customer support, improve Services, enforce agreements, or conduct ordinary business activities, provided those interests are not overridden by applicable privacy rights.

Consent: where you have provided consent for a particular activity, such as certain marketing communications or optional cookies.

Legal obligations: where processing is necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or recordkeeping requirements.

Where sensitive personal information requires consent or another specific legal basis under applicable law, we will process it in accordance with those requirements.

20. SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION

Certain information provided through applications, screening, consultations, or service requests may be considered sensitive personal information under applicable law.

SERVESKYLAR uses such information only for reasonably necessary purposes associated with the relevant application, screening, safety process, requested Service, legal obligation, fraud prevention, or other purpose disclosed when the information is collected.

We do not sell sensitive personal information.

Please provide sensitive information only through the method requested by SERVESKYLAR and only where reasonably necessary.

21. DO NOT TRACK AND PRIVACY CONTROLS

Browsers and devices may provide privacy signals or controls relating to tracking technologies.

Because standards and legal requirements concerning these signals continue to evolve, SERVESKYLAR responds to legally recognized browser or device-based privacy signals where required by applicable law and technically supported by the Website or relevant service provider.

You may also manage applicable cookie preferences through the Website's cookie-consent mechanism.
